What do we do?
We are currently at eight District 65 schools (Dewey, Lincolnwood, Kingsley, Lincoln, Walker, Washington, Willard, and Haven)!
Our daily, hour-long program connects students to caring and committed volunteer tutors. Tutors typically commit to one morning a week to work one-on-one with students on homework, reading, or math. B&B tutors receive training on how to provide academic help and ongoing support from the B&B Site Director.
The need for volunteer tutors has never been greater. We need your help to support all B&B students! We are looking to build a team of community members committed to educational justice and who love working with kids. In addition, we have a specific need for tutors who are fluent Spanish speakers.
How can you get involved?
B&B is in session:
Monday through Friday 8-9am at our elementary school sites (Dewey, Lincolnwood, Kingsley, Lincoln, Walker, Willard and Washington)
Monday through Friday from 7:20-7:50am at Haven Middle School
